“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?” - Alice

“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.

“I don’t much care where—“ said Alice.

“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.

“–so long as I get SOMEWHERE,” Alice added as an explanation.

“Oh, you’re sure to do that,” said the Cat, “if you only walk long enough.”

So many of us walk and walk, but find we’re never getting anywhere. All along we want to be SOMEWHERE, but we are never sure enough or confident about where that should be. Where do you want to go? What do you want to achieve? Do you think about significance, or is the act of achieving a goal in itself? Who do you want to become? Who do you want to be tomorrow? What can you do to get there? This is such a frustrating and agonizing way to live.

What so many miss is this, God wants to reveal your purpose and identity. See God is not restricted by time or space and He stands in your future and looks at you in the present desiring to speak to you of your destiny. It all starts with you finding your true identity in Christ. “Romans 8:19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God.”

The good news is this, even though the world seems lost and hopeless there is a remnant of a generation that is rising and stepping into their identity and purpose. In 2 Corinthians 5 Paul states that...

It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor). So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. (2 Corinthians 5:19 - 5:20 AMP)

This is the foundation in which we build from. So let’s get intentional and purposeful in our direction and know where we are heading. God is waiting to reveal to you so He can reveal you to the world!
